Poetic Pills 2008
Brittany and Danielle Spano
We were once called Languished Pumpkin, in a different time under a different host. It was fun, but we were just learning and honestly had no idea how anything worked. We pretended to know things because we wanted to earn the respect of other graphic sites. That was all in 2005.
Now we're older and wiser (possibly still filled with resentment), but we get it. Both of us have studied graphic design and web construction on our time, teaching ourselves. We're amateurs. However, we're prepared to take our work to the next level. We're planning on taking fall weekend classes at the famed FIT in New York City.
Poetic Pills is a hobby, but graphic design is a possible career. Welcome to our improved website, where we plan on spending many free hours. Everything is free. Use it as you feel. Just please leave our credits on. And hey, talk to us every once in a while.

Version Four
Montauk, Long Island || The End
Montauk is the end of Long Island, it's farthest piece of land. It's the tip of this beautiful section of New York. It is also my dream home. This version of Poetic Pills features the most famous part of Montauk, it's lighthouse. I cannot count how many times I've walked up and down it's spiral stairs, hearing the waves crash on the rocks barricading the extremely eroded hill holding it up. Every summer me, Dee and our family spend a week in Montauk in this cute little cottage right on the water, only a few minutes drive from the lighthouse. You should try to at least one point in your life travel here, even if only spending a day. I can guarantee you will fall in love like I have, and like Anthony Green has.
The lyrics featured all throughout this version are from a song entitled Meet Me In Montauk by the band Circa Survive. Their lyricist and singer Anthony Green has pronounced his love for Montauk. He sings this song solo sometimes, and the first time I saw it for myself he talked about Montauk with so much fervor I could level with him. So, welcome to Poetic Pills Version Four. Welcome to the end. Welcome to Montauk. -Britt Spano
